"When the entire team (architect, interior designer, project manager, school administration and furniture dealer) collaborate from day one,
that is when we know that the outcome will be a School that not only will students, but faculty thrive in.The future begins with students,
and we need to provide them with the best opportunity for success."
— Elizabeth Carter-Thibodeaux VP of Sales & Business Development / Interior Designer, Frost Barber of Louisiana
Color is integral to the interior design, with each grade wing defined by a primary color and a unifying purple accent throughout. Color not only aids in wayfinding but also gives each age group a sense of identity, while bold graphic wallcoverings tie the spaces together, fostering a colorful and welcoming atmosphere. Each wing is thoughtfully tailored to meet the needs of its students. Collaborative spaces support up to two full classes, encouraging social interaction and group learning. Classrooms across Brownfields Elementary incorporate flexible, student-centered furniture that is age-appropriate and allows teachers to reconfigure seating as needed.
